This bite-size session provides delegates with some basic tools that can be used to develop people and improve performance through coaching. It explores the benefits of coaching and when it is useful. The session also examines two of the core skills of coaching, as well as providing a structure for effective coaching conversations to ensure they bring about results.
In particular, by the end of the Power Hour those attending will be able to:
- Explain what coaching is, and when it can be useful
- Describe the key skills of coaching, and provide examples of good practice
- Use the GROW Model to structure coaching and achieve a positive outcome
