This session on setting meaningful goals aims to help people to clearly define goals and targets, so that they are understood by everyone. It is relevant for commercial goals and personal development goals. It also examines the factors necessary to make goals compelling so that they are more likely to be committed to.

In particular, by the end of the Power Hour attendees will be able to:

  • Describe the characteristics of effective goals
  • Set a SMART objective, and explain why it is useful
  • Create a well-formed outcome, and explain why it is useful
