Very few people enjoy conflict and even when it is constructive, it needs to be managed. Taking action to manage conflict can seem quite daunting, but it is part of a manager’s core responsibilities - it goes with the territory of managing people. If you ignore conflict and disruptive behaviour, problems will escalate and things are much harder to deal with.

This Power Hour training session is all about understanding conflict, and taking action to minimise the negative effects it can have.

In particular, by the end of the training delegates will be able to:

  • Identify the most common causes of conflict
  • Describe a process for resolving conflict
  • Explain the skills needed for effective conflict resolution.

You can download the free Key Points Sheet and optional PowerPoint Slides in PDF format to get a taste of the core content.
